Kingdom Karnage Raises $2M From Animoca Brands, Enjin and DFG to Boost GameFi Features – Press release Bitcoin News

Press release. United Kingdom – January 13, 2022 – Kepithor Studios has announced a batch of innovative new GameFi mechanics that will be coming to the turn-based NFT battle game, Kingdom Karnage. The game will introduce new opportunities to play for earning to players, backed by the upcoming KKT token, which has received investments from Animoca Brands, Kriptomat, ExNetwork, MyMetaverse, DFG, Jsquare and many more. The team intends to build a bridge that will allow the KKT token to move from Binance Smart Chain to Enjin’s Jumpnet where users can transact without gas.

Kingdom Karnage has been live and playable in beta for nearly two years. The game’s animation aesthetics and dynamic, highly strategic gameplay have allowed it to amass 24,979 NFT holders since its launch. Kingdom Karnage was also one of the first projects to receive a $100 million investment from Enjin from the Efinity Metaverse Fund.

Kingdom Karnage will enable players to earn a living by receiving KKT dollars through in-game drops and voting on new game features. Players with additional NFTs can create “sponsorship groups” that they can loan to other players, and share the $KKT earned using them. $KKT will become the currency of the Kingdom Karnage economy, as players will be able to sell and rent NFT through the in-game auction house.

“We are creating new profit-making gameplay mechanisms that will spread through the game industry,” said Nick Franklin, CEO of Kephithor Studios. “By striking the perfect balance between gameplay and financial inclusion, our mission is to help gamers enjoy their free time and change their lives while doing so.”

Kingdom Karnage is partnering with EnjinStarter, Red Kite and GameFi to launch their IGOs on January 11, 12 and 13.

“Kingdom Karnage is a very special game for Enjin, being one of the first companies to join our ecosystem in November 2018. It represents the excellent integration of the Enjin blockchain wallet and technology stack into a simplified role-playing game that works on mobile and browser. Furthermore, It shows how a small team can grow an organic community using creative game mechanics.” – Witek Radomsky, Co-Founder and CTO, Enjin

“There are a plethora of reasons to be a strong believer in Kingdom Karnage, and the quality of the game is among the best we’ve seen growing in the GameFi space, they are cross-chain targets that align with the future of the blockchain as a whole and are a genuine Enjin product, which shows a great deal of quality development These are just some of the reasons why we consider it a unique game and have high expectations of what they will be able to achieve in a young, up-and-coming segment of the industry.” — James Wu, Co-Founder and CIO, DFG
